HAIR: Elena has what most girls want. A mop of thick gorgeous dark brown lustrous hair that falls just a few inches beneath her shoulders. She doesn’t usually do much with it instead preferring to wear it down in it’s natural almost pin straight style.
EYES: Elena has beautiful almond shaped eyes , framed by rich long black eyelashes. Her eyes are characterized by the dark sultry brown color they have. The darkness and allure of them is almost in sync and linked with her personality, subdued, mysterious and very revealing of her emotions. They are one of the first things people notice and one of many things that draws you to her physically.
FACE: Elena isn’t a supermodel beauty, nor is she exotic in any sense of the word. She is beautiful but not the kind that boys usually look for today. She has a shade of olive skin tone that makes her look almost perfectly tanned, and her nose is kinda spaced in the middle of it all somewhere lost between her eyes and heart shaped lips. She has that all American girl look, instead of pageant queen, and is a more subtle kind of beautiful.
BODY: Next to the girls in her school Elena is a rather average height of 5’6 ½. Far from lazy, an athletic frame hold her 119 pound body that is well proportioned for her height with just a few curves in the right places. But by no means are they overly accentuated. On top of the rich tone of her skin, it is nearly flawless having had less pimples and breakouts in her life then she could count on two hands.
CLOTHING: Elena’s sense of fashion isn’t lacking by any means but at times perhaps wasted. She knows how to dress well and her figure is easily dressed in jeans whether it be in a tshirt and jeans or the latest trend. The most difficult part of finding anything is she often times sits right in between sizes where you go up and it is far too large, or go down and it is much to small. When she does though she loves to wear jeans and cute colored tops, sometimes with a cute jacket on top to add to the look for both function and fashion. She doesn’t dress up very often mainly because every day doesn’t call for high fashion but on the occasion that an event does she fits the role like a glove, from pauper to princess.

PERSONALITY:

Elena tends to be a calm and rather collective sometimes even withdrawn person but is extremely passionate. Her quiet nature sometimes gets easily mistaken for uncaring which is anything but the truth. Her priority is always those around her, especially the ones she loves. Before her parents death she was outgoing and popular, almost opposite what she became after her loss.

Family comes first to her, both her brother Jeremy and Aunt Jenna being the closest to her. Her friends though are right behind as second in line. Most of them she has nearly all her life, she would do anything for them. She hasn’t been an extremely outgoing kind of person since the accidentbut will be nice to almost anyone til you cross her. She has a big heart and is fiercely loyal constantly putting herself and her own needs or wants aside to help those she loves, sometimes at any cost. Her heart though can be too big at times she thinks especially in cases like that of Damon. After all the things he has done there still seems to be that connection there and she hasn’t written him off completely like she would have liked. Perhaps you could say she is somewhat forgiving but usually doesn’t ever tend to forget.
If you wanted to know something about Elena her diary would probably be the first place to look. Daily she writes in the diary her mother got her before she died and uses it as a outlet. Something to look back on but a safe place to work through her feelings and her thoughts. She is a rather introverted person and this is her means of expression. When she does have something she wants you to know though or feels very strongly her emotions are easily read because she doesn’t hold them in so watch out.

FAMILY LIFE: Jeremy and Jenna are the only family members in Elena’s life at the moment. Jeremy and her share a typical brother sister relationship with its ups and downs. A squabble between the two siblings is pretty usual every once in a while but recently things have sort of been at more of a truce stage for them since Jeremy has been learning more about the real life in Mystic Falls.
The relationship between Elena and her Aunt Jenna probably falls more into the realm of friendship then guardian or disciplinarian for that matter. They share a mutual respect for each other and there is a lot of love between them but for the most part Jenna seems to consider her a responsible adult. They are close but Elena doesn’t share as much with her aunt anymore because she is one of the few people in her life now that doesn’t know about the things really going on in town, it’s history, or her own families past.
HISTORY:
Elena and Jeremy lost both their parents to a car accident on May 29,2009. Resulting in the tragedy they were sent to live with their mother’s younger sister as requested by the final wishes of her parents. After moving in with Aunt Jenna and starting the new school year Elena meets the new guy in school. Good looking, nice, a bit mysterious.
The relationship between the two quickly changed going from a budding friendship to blooming romance. After finding out that Stefan was a vampire from a long lineage they went through several ups and downs til finding a semi comfortable on again status that they are still in now. Initially he had been drawn to her because she looked like his old flame, but then it grew into something more. Stefan ends up being the one who tells her that her adoptive parents are not really her biological parents they were Isobel and John. Isobel was 16 years old and got pregnant then gave Elena up so that she could be turned into a vampire, and John a prominent member within the community.
Recently many things have changed including Elena. Her relationship with the Salvatore brothers is a bit more complicated then anyone could possibly imagine. Her best friend was turned into a vampire, the other has found she is a witch, and her brother came rather close once to being converted as well. Katherine is back in town and Damon mistaking her for Elena confessed his feelings for her. This of course being beneficial information to her. They found out that Elena is Katherine’s doppelganger, the one that a vampire named Klous has been searching for to break the vampire curse so they can walk in the light again. Elena and her friends are on the hunt for the moonstone, the one thing that can save her.

“ Damon. I told you once before and I will tell you again. I love Stefan.” Elena said as she saw him come towards her and felt her small body slam up against the cold hard wall behind her suddenly. They had been in this position before, not for the same reasons but it was similar enough. Hands pressed against the wall behind her, his face close enough to her to feel his breathe. She closed her eyes again willing it all to go away. That feeling in the pit of her stomach that urged her.

“ Your loving Stefan is locked away inside that cave with Katherine. “ he said running his hand down the side of her face. “ Do you think he isn’t thinking about her at all. That something won’t happen. He may never come out again. “ he told her ruefully as her eyes darted open again.

“ Come on Damon, please get off me “ she pleaded with him. Her mind was now frantically running to the cave to make sure that Damon had no truth in his words but her body was motionless underneath of him. She pushed lifted her hands from the wall placing them just above his chest bone and carefully pushing against him, his body not moving. Putting her in these positions constantly you would think that by now she would have realized physically fighting against him was pointless, and when she again reminded herself of that she let her head drop back against the wall and stared at him with cold eyes.

Damon returned the stares his eyes unwavering as she had given up pushing on him for the moment. Unlike Elena, Damon had no morals preventing him from allowing anything to take place, only her. Letting his hands release her he stepped away looking at her for another long moment before turning around to walk away stopping only when he reached the door frame to her room.

“ I will find a way to get him out of there, but I can’t promise you how long it will take. “ He never turned around to look at her, never said goodbye, never even asked her if she needed anything before he left. Instead he just walked away and was gone again. Elena slumped to the floor right where she had stood sinking to sit down and running her hands over her head resting it in her palms as she stared at the ceiling. What was going to happen? This, whatever it was could not go on between them forever. She had been in love with Stefan right from the start, and she still was . . . wasn’t she?
